About Us: Ballygrace
Farm has been owned and operated by Tom Fitzpatrick
since 1999. Our riding school features
experienced coaches and seasoned school ponies,
which together have encouraged many children in
their dreams of becoming riders. Our friendly,
knowledgeable staff offers coaching for hunters and
jumpers, as well as equitation and the fundamentals
of dressage. |

Philosophy:
At Ballygrace Farm, we foster love and
appreciation of horses. Our students arrive
early enough before their lesson to groom and tack
up, and put away their horses/ponies when the class
is over. We believe in teaching proper riding
technique, together with the underlying rationale
for what is learned. In other words, we teach
"why" as well as the "how".

Safety: Safety of horse and rider is of paramount
importance to us. All riders must wear certified safety helmets and
boots with a 1" heel. Safety vests are required for students junping
our school horses. Long hair must be tied up or secured in a hair net.
In addition, proper riding breeches are recommended to be the most
comfortable and functional clothing for lessons. |
Ballygrace Farm offers a welcoming environment
to all those who share a love of equestrian pursuits.
Conveniently located on the borders
of Burlington, Milton, and Oakville, and only
minutes from Mississauga.
